WAR PATROL 1, Commanded by A. H. Holtz, took the USS Baya from Pearl Harbor to the east and north of the Phillipines, South of Formosa, and in the South China Sea, from August 23, 1944, to October 22, 1944.
WAR PATROL 2, Commanded by A. H. Holtz, took the USS Baya from Fremantle, Australia to the South China Sea, from November 14, 1944, to January 12, 1945.
WAR PATROL 3, Commanded by B. C. Jarvis took the USS Baya from Fremantle, Australia to the coast of Annam between Cape Varella and Cape Padaran in the South China Sea from February 10, 1945 to March 27, 1945.
WAR PATROL 4, Commanded by B. C. Jarvis took the USS Baya from Subic Bay, Philippines to the South China Sea and Java Seas, from April 20, 1945, to May 18, 1945.
WAR PATROL 5, Commanded by B. C. Jarvis took the USS Baya from Fremantle, Australia to the Java Seas. The major part of this patrol was devoted to reconnaissance duty in support of Allied landings at Balikpapen, Borneo. The patrol was from June 14, 1945, to July 31, 1945.
