Thanks to Phil Rogers who sent these pictures and writes "This was in early 1946. May, I believe. The Baya was in Mare Island, CA (Vallejo, CA) about this time. The subs on either side of her are the: SS 200 Thresher in the left of the picture. SS 319 Becuna on the right side of the picture. The sailor is George Young, who served on the Baya."
